Gas Inserts
Using the same technology as direct vent fireplaces, gas inserts allow homeowners to convert their existing conventional wood-burning fireplaces into highly efficient heating systems. A gas insert is an air-tight, sealed box that is inserted in to a fireplace opening. Exhaust fumes and combustion air intake occur with co-linear flexible pipes installed in the existing flue with a termination at the top. Converting to a gas insert system is ideal for the following reasons:
- Excellent Source Of Supplemental Heat
- Works During Power Outages
- Sealed System Does Not Allow Heat Loss Through Chimney
- Clean And Easy To Use
Visit our showroom to see gas inserts burning on display. We are currently burning the following inserts:

Custom Screens for our innsbrook Direct-Vent Inserts
We offer a unique custom screen front for our "Innsbrook" gas inserts. Each screen is custom designed to fit the fireplace (normally overlapping 3/4" on top and each side). The screens are laser cut from 3/16" steel with a 1/2" return welded to the frame. The inner portion of the pattern is designed to match the glass viewing area of the insert.
Our screens can be made in any shape or size (perfect for arched and unusual sized openings) and in 12 powdercoat finishes.
