Kett’s Hearth & Home, Inc. has been a family-owned business for three generations. Kett Hardware was established in 1923 by Adrian Kett. Later, his son John assumed ownership in the 1950’s, and changed the name to Kett's Hearth & Home in 1964, selling home accessories and fireplace products.  

In 1978, John's son, Larry Kett, joined the company, taking over sales, marketing, and purchasing.

In 2001, Kett's moved from its original store in Seymour Square to a new 6000 square foot showroom on 29th St. 

On November 2, 2015 Kett's moved from 3792 29th ST SE into their current showroom at 4222 29th St SE. The new location is in the 29th Center, 1/4 mile east of East Paris Ave.

Product lines are chosen on superior design, performance, and value. Kett’s specializes in gas logs, gas inserts, direct vent gas fireplaces, glass doors, firescreens, and Solaire infrared gas grills.
